Tactical Variation:

To be successful on this game, it is recommended that you have at least two
different formations that you can use in the course of a match, such as a
4-5-1 and a 4-3-3, etc. This will enable you to switch tactics easily during
a match when things aren't going according to plan, and will therefore save
you a great amount of time over the course of a season. Switching formations
regularly can also help confuse the opposition, especially those who employ
man-marking strategies on your key players. If one of your star players has
been quiet throughout a match, try changing his position in order to trick
your opponents - this can gain you a crucial upper hand.


Buy any player for free:
------------------------
When you make an offer for a player make all direct offers zero, but offer
a huge amount over 12 months, the club will accept and you will offer contract
to the player...if he accepts and transfers too your club, offer him another
contract, as soon as he accepts the new contract yu offered him, there will be
no monthly payments to his previous club i.e. you obtained him for free!
Bought Totti and Ronaldinio my first season.
IMPORTANT - Buy players at beginning of transfer month as the process takes 2
weeks or so to finalise, and if it runs over a onth you will end up paying
transfer fees to the other club.

After you have agreed to an amount that you would like to sell your player for,
the final screen before the acceptance reads: set to sign for . The "Accept"
and "Cancel" buttons are also displayed. Just before you press "Accept", save
the game. Exit, re-enter, and load up the game. After you have done this, accept
the offer. The money you receive will be doubled than agreed.

if you are the manager of a small team like (ex.) steaua bucharest in your first
transfer window make yourself some budget (about 700000000 mil.) then when you
reach the 2nd transfer window try these players: GK Diego (flamengo), D: cristian
nasuti (rive),emiliano dudar(train him as a striker and he wil score a lot of
goals), cristian alvarez(river), do not sell mirel radoi in 2 years he will make
around 7 mil. ,chiquinho(internacional, great winger), jersson amur gonzalez
(america de cali),george ogararu, razvan rat (sahtor).
M: milovan mirosevic(racing club(argentina)),giovanny hernandez(colon), fellype

ST on counter attakc ( very fast), lebohang mokoena and pablo vitti are wonderkids
and very cheap. In august 2006 (transfer window), add new manager at inter select
LUIS FIGO :P make him "transfer listed" and "not neded" then change user and offer
Figo a player/coach contract (you must have a serious budget :P )he will play for
you at least one year (at least 2 assist per game) , do the same thing with
rivaldo(cadiz) he wil also play for at least one year (you wil not be disapointed,
trust me I know). adiran mutu , cristian chivu are exelent players for a small
team. I use this squad and I dominate every competition with steaua bucharest.
I forgot to say , DO NOT LET FIGO TAKE THE PK`s he will give you a heart attack
damn that guy misses the penalties. Try them and you will see your team on top
of the world rankings in a few years. good luck

If you go chelsea you get £92m transfer budget so buy leo messi £17m (young and
brilliant) ,Rivaldo £5m (hes 33 but play him attacking mid he always scores),
kris boyd £2,5m (play him every game and he gets at least a goal a game) garry
o'connor, derek riordan, david murphy and scott brown all from hibs for about
£20m , they are all young and superb. ps: dunfermline for the cis cup

Manchester United: I often use this tactic and win in most of my games: In the first
15 minutes, use 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 attacking formation, passing direct and to both flanks,
increase the tempo and pressing,etc... with the quick attack. I usually have 1 or 2
goals. Then turn your tactic in to normal tempo, counter attack, or 4-5-1 def. like
Chelsea:). With this, I became world-class when won all in my 5 first matches with
Arsenal,Chelsea,Liverpool,Blackburn and Birmingham.

Some player are tipped to be new stars, like Vinicius->Carlos,Nilmar->Ronaldo (Brazil),
and many more you can find. This information is displayed in player's personal menu.
The other young talents are Vincent Kompany and Anthony vanden Borre (Belgium), Lee
Martin + Pique + Rossi from ManUtd.

When you start a game as Chelsea, you have a lot of money. A good tip is to buy
Adriano, as he is brilliant, even though he is expensive.

Add a manager for Chelsea and buy a reserve player from the team you are managing
for all the money Chelsea has. When the player is signed, retire from football.
You can do this with Manchester United as well. Do this twice with each club and
you will be rolling in cash.

Open the game via the start menu. Note that under the icon used to launch the game
is an editor. Click on it. When the editor starts, select "File", "Load Database",
"Server_db", "People", "Edit", then "Create Person". You can also do this with team,
stadium, etc. However when done using "Team"", the league you want will not work.

If you are in a good background club(like Man Utd and Real Madrid)and you need a world
class player like Ronaldinho and Eto'o,do the following process: Add a manager at
Barcelona.Select Ronaldinho and you will see'Discipline player'.Select 'Discipline
Player for no Reason'.Continue this for 4-5 times and then mutualy terminate his
contract. Then add a manager at Man Utd or Chelsea and you can easily buy the player.

Know what I'm talking about when it comes to signing future stars so listen up;

First of all sign if you're a small team or a big team that needs back up for your
striker(s) sign Kerlon. I bought him for Liverpool as a 19-year-old as back-up for
Bojinov and Robinho (also great signings) and these are some of his stats less than
a year later:

Finishing - 16
Long Shots - 17
Technique - 17
Flair - 17
Work Rate - 18
Acceleration - 15
Agility - 18

Ok he won't get you 20 a season but he's definitely worth the 7 million odd you'll
have to pay for him.

Next no matter what team I go to I always seam to end up needing to sign a right-back.
Well here's my tip - NEVER buy someone like Zambrotta; just because he looks very good
he's old and he won't last long. Instead of wasting money on old people like him, sign
a player called Jonathan from Cruzeiro - he instantly performs and is young. These are
some of his stats at the age of just 22:

You may think that I'm obssessed with Brazilians but it's not my fault they're so good
so I've got another one; he's a right-winger called Anderson, he plays for Santos and
you should get him. I got him when he was 19 and although he's not had any magnificent
performances you'll notice his improvement in a about six months:

Valeri Bojinov:

I've already mentioned him and with good reason; he's great. I admit I didn't think
much of him when I joined Liverpool (they'd already signed him) but OMG he is terrific.
I was sooo impressed by him; and that's bearing in mind I'd just come from Arsenal and
Thierry Henry. But Bojinov really is Henry quality! He gets you 30 league goals a season
and boy does he score some beauties!

18 - Agility, Balance, Jumping
17 - Dribbling, Long Shots, Technique, Acceleration

You can buy him at the beginning of the game for about 8m but when he's 22 he'll cost
around 20m.


Javier Mascherano:
------------------
Another obvious one I just think you should see his stats when he's only 24:

20 - Tackling, Determination, Stamina
19 - Marking, Influence, Positioning, Strength
18 - First Touch, Creativity, Decisions,
Acceleration, Agility, Balance, Natural
Fitness, Pace

And trust me he's a lot better than he looks. And perhaps a little surprisingly he's
not an aggresive player like Patrick Vieira; in 16 matches for me he's not had any
bookings. In fact I can't think of any drawbacks that he has.


Dudu Caerence:
--------------
Oh dear - nned a defensive midfielder but can't afford Mascherano! What can you do?
Well, the answer's simple - buy Dudu Caerence instead. He plays for Real Sociedad at
the start of the game but he's not an important player to them, you may even find him
in the B-team. But don't let that put you off! Although he's different to Mascherano
in many ways, the result will be the same - great performances and as yet for me no
bookings. His stats aren't great at all but they do not reflect his true ability.
Even if you're a big team, play him in the League Cup or whatever, you might find you
like him. And he has a great long shot even though it doesn't look like it on his stats.
Please, trust me, not the stats.

Ok, I think I've gone through all the bestones I've found but there a few more unkown
and uder-rated stars to be found:

Philippe Senderos; before I got him my team never seamed to score from corners but
now they do regularly. His technical stats are awful apart from three; Heading - 19,
Marking - 16, Tackling - 19.

Felipe; decent back-up for your left-back, very cheap but quite good.

Michael Essien; the most under-rated player in history? I'm such a fan of Essien
(and trust me, I don't support Chelsea) that I've signed him on nearly all of my
games on FM 2006.

So now you have no excuse to go and sign some 'quality' 30-year-old for 30m when t
here are so many awesome youngsters you can get for about a quarter of that.

Believe me - with most of these players I've won the treble 2 years running,
without cheating!

Improve Your Players:

Really simple cheat this! Once you've picked your club just go to options and new
user go 1 of the big clubs (i.e chelsea, man utd, real madrid, inter, milan and
juve) buy a rubbish player from your team then retire as manager of the big club.
Then look around and find the best coaches in the world and you'll have the wage
budget to sign them. This will then make all your players improve and if you have
youth academy training facilites you'll start churning out world class players!
(Chelsea are best club to do this with at start of the game as they have a transfer
budget of 90million also good clubs 2 get coaches from are Porto, Sporting CP,
Juve and Barcelona).

Say you are stevenage fighting against relagation take control a rich club like chelsea
and sell your best player for all their money he should go to chealsea and you will find
you have lots of money but you will want him back, you should find his price would be
about 500k sign him and retire from the rich club you should have 89m.


Good, Young Players, For Championship Teams:

Sign Eddie Gaven, he always gets good ratings, and is only 18! Freddy Adu is also one
to try and get, as he is a fastly developing player. Gary O'Connor, Kris Boyd and Derek
Riordan, are all very prolific goalscorers. Andy Webster is also a good defender to have,
along side Gary Doherty. Sasha Iakovenko is a good, attacking midfielder, for cheap
money.
